The front desk is truly the glue that holds the whole office together. The receptionists and insurance specialists take care of all the preparations before you arrive to ensure that you have the best experience possible.

Graduating from Erie Community College in 1981. Michael immediately began working at what was then called Park Opticians, which was owned by his father Bob Richmond. In 1995 Bob retired, passing the torch to Michael who took over as owner. Since assuming control he has continued to grow and modernize the company to keep up with the ever changing technologies and fashion trends. Michael's belief is and has always been, that the key to the company's success is its focus on superior customer care.

Patti has 10 years of experiece as a NYS licensed optician in both multi-chain stores and private practices. She is both ABOC (American Board of Opticianry Certified) and NCLE (National Contact Lens Examiners Certified). She is also a member of the NYS Society of Dispensing Opticians.

Pat became a NYS licensed optician after graduating from the American Board of Opticianry Career Progression Program. She joined Park Optical in 1997 bringing with her 16 years of experience in the optometric field. Pat is a past member and chairperson of the Optometric Extension Program and an active member of the New York State Society of Dispensing Opticians.
